Stoned Cats and Hard Bread

Not having a very productive weekend due to losing my tablet stylus and generally being unable to think. The cats have some new toys from the craft fair I went to yesterday. Daisy went into a dark corner with her catnip fortune cookie, too dark for good pics, but Clydey, completely stoned out of her mind from this catnip cannoli, stayed in some OK light.
I made some multi-cultural hard breads this weekend too. Four loaves of bread sliced up and dried out in the oven for pane duro ...

and some trad Jewish Mandel Bread. It's my grandmother's recipe...

All very yummy, but if I were a kitten, I'd still rather be eating catnip cannoli!

Ooooo...your mandel looks perfect!
Too hot at my house to do any baking, even in a 200 degree oven!
