The Great Schlep

I love The Great Schlep! Jews from all over the country are going to swing states to convince their grandparents that Obama is not the evil-doer that the Republicans are accusing him of being. Ever notice how McCain and Palin keep bringing up the Holocaust? Desperate weirdos.
My grandmother's in Chicago and she's hook, line, and sinker for Obama.

You are so stupid. But then that's what youth is for.
You don't have the vaguest idea what Obama stands for.
He is for killing babies who survive botched abortions.
He is for complete, unrestricted abortion all the time.
His political career began at the home of an unrepentant, domestic terrorist, William Ayers.

''I don't regret setting bombs,'' Bill Ayers said. ''I feel we didn't do enough.'' Mr. Ayers,
Who else wants Obama to be president?
Hamas, FARC, Fidel Castro, Moammar Khadafy, Hugo Chavez, Kim Jong Il.
But you would propose lying to your grandparents about that?
Barak Obama is not a terrorist and desperate people like "anonymous" need to face the fact that he is head and shoulders above John "Keating Five" McCain and Sarah "Troopergate" Palin.
The Repubs are running scared and well they should be! America is sick and tired of the Bush doctrine and way he has dragged this entire country through the mud. We as a nation have lost our credibility because of the current president. And McCain would just be a repeat of George Dubya.
Face it, America wants Barak Obama as the next POTUS and trying to link him to someone else's acts that occurred when Senator Obama was a boy of eight is just pathetic. As for abortion, if you don't want one, then don't have one. While I much prefer conraception to abortion, I still believe that a woman has a right to choose and that right is between her and God.
Barak Obama wants a better future for all Americans. McCain just wants a better future for his rich buddies. Besides, if he was so great, why couldn't his own running mate name a single thing he had done in 26 years in Congress?
I hope Senator Obama wins. If you don't like it, feel free to leave the country...
Amen Teresa, you speak for me too.
It don't take a Weatherman to know which way "anonymous" blows.
I love this sweater! It's shameful and sad when people have to resort to scare tactics like this. Anonymous, you are pretty much an idiot. Who goes anonymously on someone's blog and calls them "so stupid" without even having the courtesy of leaving a name? You suck.
"He is for complete, unrestricted abortion all the time."
So am I, which is why I am voting for him.
I followed you here from Ravelry. I can't tell you how much I love this. Thanks for injecting some (pointed) humor into the debate. Things seem so dreary these days.
Go Grandma!
Wow. I never cease to be amazed at how creative people can be. Very cute sweater. I'm only bummed that I can't buy it for my daughter.
Another nice write up...

No matter your political leaning, you've got to admit, this is one kick a** knitting project!
Well, the Jewish Council for Education and Research, came up with The Great Schlep and teamed up with comedian Sarah Silverman to promote it. Of course, she brings new meaning to the phrase, "Cuss and discuss!"
thanks,
