Sweaters! Sweaters! Sweaters!

I've been working on a series of sweaters for a show in Aspen that opens at the end of the month. I'm designing them here, and for the first time ever, I'm having someone else make them! It's amazing to have found a manufacturer for this project, because there is no way I could have designed and made 35 sweaters this summer. They seem to take forever to design each one, and I'm not sure why they take so long.
The first batch of them arrived in the mail yesterday. (They are made about 40 miles from here, not in China, but we are sending yarn and sweaters back and forth through UPS and FedEx, probably costing a fortune but at least I don't have to drive...)
The slogans on these sweaters are all from past presidential election campaigns. Each sweater has the year the slogan was used and the names of the candidates running. What I thought was interesting about this idea is that the slogans don't really change much over the years and they are pretty much interchangeable from party to party. The message of "change" really stands out, an omnipresent idea throughout this short history.
The sweaters are all the same colors, patriotic and also referencing Norwegian sweaters. They look like typical ski sweaters, and they will be displayed throughout the town of Aspen in store windows and at the museum.

What a clever idea! The sweaters are not only fashionable and striking, but oh so current, yet retro! Congratulations!

Hello,
I read about your work in a book in Borders a few days ago, and wrote your website's name on my hand. Basically, I think your jumpers are awesome, and I wondered if there was anywhere you can buy one?!
My email is india_volkers@hotmail.com
Thanks!
