The Nineteenth Amendment
Is this what the Suffragettes had in mind when toiling to give women the right to vote?
So that eventually a VP candidate would be chosen for no other purpose but to pander to them? 
What makes me feel like puking is the possibility that this strategy might work. Is it time to repeal the Nineteenth Amendment before this joke becomes reality?

Well, we knew he'd NEED a woman on the ticket, and she has the background to appeal to Mrs. America even if she's not a sahm.
Somebody in that campaign knows what sells to their constituency.

I'm shuddering at the evil genius of it all...first the positive add during Obama's speech, and now this.
Republicans think of women as ornamentals. This is the first picture I've seen of Sarah Palin, and she certainly has the cleavage credential, the quiz show hostess gown, & she can ride, she can rope, she can spit. All this, and she's anti abortion....what's not to like?

The funny part is, Obama might as well be a communist.
He believes in taking from the "rich" and giving to the "poor".
Sounds an awful lot like "each according to his ability, and each according to his need" to me.
That's pretty much the definition right? I mean, the USSR had universal health care right?

Fear not, my fellow Obama supporter. Immediately after the DNC, Senator Obama was tied neck-in-neck with John McCain at 47%. As of today, the Gallup poll shows Senator Obama ahead of Senator McCain 50% to 42%. If John McCain thinks we females are dumb enough to vote for him because he tapped Sarah Palin, then I suspect he is in for an ugly suprise. Rock on!
It's for real. I'm pretty sure that he was mentored for four years by Frank Marshall Davis.... He believes in socialism...that makes him a commie, no?
I don't actually think McCain picked Palin for the "female vote". I think he picked her because she's got a strong record of being fiscally conservative and of government reform, just the CHANGE we've all been looking for. I HOPE they get into office.
