I Da Ho
Went to NYC and got my copy of the KnitKnit book at the launch party. The book is awesome, and I'm so stoked to be between the covers of some of my favorite knitters! (I won't mention any names since I will probably forget someone...) Sabrina did such a good job with the book (and with taking pictures of me at the opening- thanks!) It's full of insightful text and beautiful photos, a real class act.
For those of you in my family reading this post, please try to restrain yourself from buying a copy... the holidays are right around the corner...
The party was held in Jim Drain's show, a perfect setting. I wore my new sweater inspired by Larry Craig's men's room exploits. The front says "I Da Ho, R U Da Ho 2?" It's kind of in text message/license plate language and it's on the state of Idaho. There are symbols for gay men as a motif, and a couple of manly footprints on the front of the sweater.
There are rainbows on the sleeves, and the back has a pair of flirting elephants and the text, "Larry Craig, full of love and a WIDE STANCE on the shitter."
Tough to see in this photo, but there is another pair of footprints on the back, one on each side of my waist. They are smooth-soled shoes, and one of them is nearly touching the footprint on the front of the sweater.
The skirt says "Nasty Boy, Naughty Boy, Bad Boy, Boise Boy" around the bottom.
It is quite the cute ensemble.

Love it! Must have taken some work to get that design worked out.
